One Sweet Day

After a 13 hour work day and Dugg trying to eat my mail (see post below). I drove 15 minutes south to see my baby girl to help her get a project done for art school and get some lovin.

Oh yeah if you haven't checked it out yet... I made her an amazing mix. I love life.

As always great things coming in the future of the blog. Even those long awaited pictures from Chicago last year and that Cleveland show the other week, tons of stuff coming in the mail, another show in early December, uploads and the life I lead.

If We Can Afford The Luxury Of Turning Our Heads

The other day I took a stroll through Goodale Park. It was a nice escape from the mall and the inside of my house. It was also a great escape from the night, the only time it seems I'm even in this world anymore. Or at least aware. I took a few pictures, and then just sat and took it in.

The large pond is half covered with lily pads and other plants. I don't really remember it ever being like this before. But maybe I'm just not in this park this time of year.

This was the only other picture I took that I liked. Lame I know, but I am lame.

Recap Of My First Show

From what Andrew told me my show went well (he was surprised that I got money out of some of our friends). Empire played great. New songs are awesome, definitely a band to be on the look out for. All My Strength Canceled. Supercontinent was really really awesome. Moutheater was really great. I am very happy with the turn out of the show seeing that Columbus has a very flaky hardcore scene. And almost everyone payed for the show (even Eric). I might do another one someday...

Recap Of The Trip

I was taking my Mother to Wisconsin to drop her off because my sister had surgery (and mom was going to take care of her for an undecided amount of time). We left at about 11am and were making record time. After Indianapolis I volunteered to drive the rest of the way. Before the next exit the transmission went. So for the second summer in a row I got to sit in a hot car and wait for a tow truck. We got towed back to Indianapolis and got a hotel room. And then luckily a friend of mine that happened to be in town and we tried to go see Ringworm (who canceled) and then went to a book store before dropping me off. I ordered a pizza (it was ok) and started watching Vision Quest but fell asleep 10 minutes in.
And today was to be me wondering around Chicago, buying records and toys. But instead it was my Mom and I finding out our car had a bum transmission and this would have happened no matter what. I just really wish it would have happened in town and not in the middle of no where. So we rented a car and have drove home. So I will have to get dropped off and picked up for work the rest of the week.
